What is the focus of this zine ?The zine focuses on the romantic relationship between Zoro and Law.
Why is the zine called Lawzo and not Zolaw ?We picked Lawzo randomly as we couldn't find a major difference in numbers on social media, we did not have a preference or judgement on it.
How many spots are there for each role ?TBD via IC
Can I apply to multiple roles ?Yes of course.
Is non-canon content allowed ?Yes, since the ship itself is non-canon, AUs and other non-canon interpretations are absolutely allowed.
Am I allowed to use my own design for the characters ?Yes, just as non-canon content is allowed, personal interpretations of characters' designs are allowed.
Is platonic content allowed ?Yes but you have to be okay with LawxZoro as a romantic ship as other contributors might see it as such.
Are other characters allowed ?In theory yes as long as your work stays Lawzo/Zolaw centric.
Will the contributors be compensated ?Unfortunately no as the zine is free and digital. We understand the effort that goes behind creating content for a zine, but it will be free to access to everyone equally.
Is prior zine experience or a big follower count needed ?No, neither of these will be taken into account when reviewing your application(s).
Is the zine NSFW ?No the zine was determined to be strictly SWF via our interest check.
Is there an age limit ?It is 16+ only.

All applicants must be over 16.

You must have or be willing to make a Discord account.

Social media following and prior zine experience will not be taken into account.

Writers may collaborate with artists to have a spot drawing go with their fic.

Every artist will be free to do spot art as an additional piece.

Merch artists will do at least 2 items and more if they want.

Artist application guidelines
including page/comic/spot/merch---You will be required to submit 3-5 samples of your best work in the style that you'd like to use for the zine.

You cannot submit an unfinished piece as a sample, it will not be taken into account. A piece with a background is strongly encouraged.

One Piece/Lawzo pieces are not required but appreciated.

A portfolio is encouraged, and accepted under the format of a Carrd, Drive folder, or any social media account.

Your application will be judged based on your skills in anatomy, composition, coloring, perspective.

Writer application guidelines---You will be required to submit a sample of 500-2k words that represent your work the best.

It is strongly encouraged to submit more of your works, either samples or full works if they are under 5k words. Samples must be in English.

To apply you must be okay with possibly collaborating with an artist for spot art.

Samples can be submitted via Drive, Google docs, or AO3 links.

One Piece/Lawzo pieces are not required but appreciated.

Your application will be judged based on grammar (including punctuation), spelling, vocabulary, formatting and story-telling/flow.
